Soongsilians can find out personal preferences by looking at what is inside their bag. What is in the bags of Soongsilians? Let’s find out the items that make up different bags, as owned by students, departments, and professors! ......Ed

There is a saying that if we look inside someone’s bag, we can see what kind of person he or she is because a bag is the perfect medium to find out the individual’s unique taste. Then, as a Soongsilina, what kind of bag do you carry? I thought that the composition of the bag would be different even among the Soongsilian who spend many hours at the same school ground , depending on the status of the student, professor, or major. ST planned this WHAT’S IN MY BAG episode for this purpose.

ST, Kim gyeong-min

First, an interview was conducted to examine the bag of an ROTC student who lives both as a student and a soldier.
Q1. Please introduce yourself.
A1. Hello, I’m Ji Eun Lee of the 63rd ROTC in the SSU District. I’m currently a human resources manager, and I’m also studying as a student in the Department of Political Science and International Relations.
Q2. The bag you carry seems unusual, so can you introduce it to ST?
A2. This bag is owned by any ROTC student, and is also called the “007 Bag.” I carry things for my university and university district lives. If there is something unique about this bag, I must carry it with my left hand. This is because you should always leave your right hand empty for a salute. We must also walk motionless, so always be careful not to shake your index finger against the bag. I think this is the most unique part.
Q3. Please introduce some items in your bag.
A3. There is a book titled Mental Power Education, a beret, and a hair net & pin set. In the case of Mental Power Education, we can explain that we need to study to take a comprehensive commission evaluation in the future. The beret and the hairpin set are essential to carry as part of a soldier’s appearance. Particularly, a hairpin is essential for female candidates because they have long hair. Remember that a beret is a hat worn outdoors, so you should keep it in your bag
when you go indoors.
Q4. Thank you for introducing your bag. Is there anything you want to say?
A4. Thank you for your interest in ROTC’s bags. If you have any questions about the university district other than the bags, please go to the Education Building. Thank you.

Second, ST interviewed a student in the Department of Film Arts.
Q1. Please introduce yourself.
A1. Hello, I’m Oh Eun-chae, majoring in film arts. The department shoots 10 to 14 films every semester, and I’m the PD of one of the many film teams. I mainly manage the budget, and oversee the location of the filming process.
Q2. What do you usually carry in your bag?
A2. A laptop, wallet, headset, and pouch are all essential. Today, I also brought notes and textbooks for my introductory German language crossing course.
Q3. What is the most special thing you usually carry around?
A3. I would like to introduce an external hard drive as the first item that differs from what other students have. It also includes an external hard hub and gender. Second, I would like to introduce Cooling Night. Since lectures in the Department of Film and Arts are conducted in discussion-style and all lectures are connected, there are many cases where you must focus on the contents of the class without dozing off. It is a central item for waking up by applying it under the nose. Lastly, these are a clothespin and a small hair tie, which are used to adjust actors’ clothes during filming or to fix actors’ hair. In the case of a clothespin, it is more difficult than you think to get the right size for an actor, so it is an item that many art directors carry with them. In the case of a hair tie, I carry it with me to part the actor’s hair or to fix the side hair.

Finally, ST conducted an interview with a professor.
Q1. Please introduce yourself.
A1. Hello, I’m Yi Seung-bok, a professor of English literature at SSU. Nice to meet you.
Q2. You brought two bags. Is there any reason?
A2. Yes, one is a bag I always carry with me every time I go to class; and the other one is filled with personal items for today’s interview.
Q3. Then, can you introduce the items you carry?
A3. There are major books, board markers, key, wallets, business card cases, glasses screws, several glass houses, and oil paper.
Q4. ST is amazed to see your items for the first time. Is there anything you can discuss here?
A4. Board markers cannot always be found in the classroom, so I carry my own. There are also many types of glasses, such as magnifying glasses and sunglasses, and I also carry mini glasses and a pair of screws to adjust the fit.
